We Understand
We know many of our customers were affected by the flood on June 22, 2024. We immediately did what we could to maintain services and get them restored as quickly and safely as possible. As we all work on the road to recovery here are a few things regarding our response:
- We will not be charging for excess water use during the time of the flood due to water line leaks
- Even though the water service line is the customers responsibility, we assisted customers as we could with shutting water off at the curbs at no charge to help reduce the amount of water entering homes
- We did not disconnect services on July 10th to allow customers additional time for payment on statements due June 20th
- As waivers and inspections are completed for electric service restoration, we are not charging customers $85 each time we come visit to turn power on and back off for electricians to work
- As customers are ready for communication service restoration, we are not charging to reconnect services or for damaged equipment
- Our 2024 rebate program is available for both residential and commercial customers who heat with electricity. Visit our website to find complete details and a copy of the rebate forms to assist with rebuilding efforts.
- We are working to continue restoration and get our services more stable as time goes on.
