Customer Service Hours May 25th

Spencer Municipal Utilities Customer Service Center will open at 9:00am on Wednesday, May 25th.

Even when our customer service center is closed, SMU has staff on duty 24-hours a day, 365-days a year to answer the phone at 580-5800 and help with any service issues that may develop.

2016 SMU Water Quality Report Available

The latest edition of Spencer Municipal Utilities’ annual Consumer Confidence Report on water quality has been prepared and is being distributed electronically again this year at www.smunet.net/2016ccr.php. Boil Advisory Lifted

The boil order issued earlier this week for 35 addresses located on 11th Avenue SW, 5th Street SW, 9th Avenue SW and 6th Street SW has been cancelled. The system has been repaired, repressurized, and bacteria samples have been collected and passed without any indication of contamination.
