Current Rate Structure--Effective June 1, 2013
GS: General Service Commercial
First 1200 kWh's:    $0.060 per kWh
Balance of kWh's:   $0.058 per kWh
Meter Charge:    $16.25 per month

SCI: Small Commercial/Industrial

Demand Charge (All kW's):    $8.60 per kW
Energy Charge (All kWh's):   $0.040 per kWh
Meter Charge:    $28.75 per month

Minimum billing shall not be less than 70% of the maximum demand charges during the previous twelve (12) months.

LCI: Large Commercial/Industrial

Demand Charge (All kW's):    $9.55 per kW
Energy Charge (All kWh's):   $0.036 per kWh
Meter Charge:    $33.60 per month

Minimum billing shall not be less than 70% of the maximum demand charges during the previous twelve (12) months.

IR: Interruptible Rate

As approved by contract between SMU and customer

ECA: Energy Cost Adjustment

An Energy Cost Adjustment (ECA) will be calculated monthly on all energy usage (kWh's) for all customer classes. The ECA is based on a rolling 12-month average of SMU's cost for purchased power.
