Video Services Associate (Part-time)
Spencer Municipal Utilities is seeking a part-time Video Services Associate to work approximately 4-7 hours a week depending on workload to help cover community events. Evening & weekend hours expected. Qualifying candidate should have High School Diploma or GED; 2 to 4 years of experience with video production is desired; or an equivalent combination of education & experience. Desktop publishing or video editing software skills a plus.

Water Operator
Spencer Municipal Utilities has a full-time non-management Water Operator position available.
This position will incorporate daytime, some evening and weekend hours in all weather conditions. Ideal applicant would have water or wastewater experience including water distribution or treatment plant licenses for Iowa; be able to plan and execute water main or treatment plant projects; basic water laboratory experience; safety training (confined space, respirators, fall protection, trenching and shoring, etc.) and good mechanical aptitude skills.
Qualified candidate must have High School Diploma or GED; ability to obtain Grade I Iowa Water Treatment Operator's license within 24 months after hire; Class A CDL or ability to obtain; familiarity with basic hand and power tools, ability to understand and follow basic parts diagrams, and willing to complete basic repairs; basic math skills; basic computer skills (windows operating system/Microsoft products); excellent time management, organizational, and communications skills.
Excellent benefits. Wage and title to be determined based on experience level.
